This picture is called Drifter, the Running Man.  Using acrylic paint and ink as well as pastes and gels on canvas and a wonderful piece of driftwood found by a friend on a beach while we were on holiday in Ireland.  There is a real sense of motion, texture, and colour on this piece.

The driftwood reminded me of a man / woman running or dancing.  Nature has a truly unique way of setting our imagination off in all directions!

I have decided to enter this artwork into a couple of art competitions this year.
